With everything in place for a massive night of acion, Geelong’s Avalon Raceway once again suffered a washout tonight. The Pro Video giant screen was in action while the Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series and the Super Rods were ready to provide some entertaining racing before the demolition derby was set to round out the evening.

The only thing the Avalon Raceway management didn’t have in their control was the weather.

Avalon Raceway management would also like to extend a large thankyou to the Super Rods who made a valiant attempt to wheel pack the surface back into shape.

The demolition derby has now been rescheduled to next Saturday (January 15th) when the G Town Rumble for Speedcars and the West Coast Classic for Modified Production Sedans will be the highlights. The V8 Dirt Modifieds will also be sure to provide plenty of entertainment.

As for the annual K Rock Cup for Super Sedans, that will now take place on Saturday night, February 5.
