Less than 24 hours remains until Avalon Raceway fires into life with close to 60 Sprintcars set to contest the Camden Neon Signs Easter Sprintcar Trail on Good Friday. In addition to the $5,000 to win A-main, several drivers have plenty to play for with any driver who can secure all three trail round wins picking up an additional $10,000 for his or her efforts!
Camden Neon Signs has also come on board once again as naming rights sponsor for the Avalon round of the Easter Trail while David Challons will also take to the wheel of the Camden Neon Signs #45 J&J across the weekend for good measure.
Camden Neon Signs will also tip in $200 cash to the driver who sets the fastest time in time trials for not only the Avalon round but also Mount Gambier and Warrnambool too!
Challons was instrumental in launching the career of defending Easter Sprintcar Trail aggregate winner and Avalon round winner Steven Lines. Lines has gone onto great success since his formative days with the Camden Neon Signs team including this years victory in Warrnambool’s Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.
More recently Challons has also assisted talented South Australian 21 year old Danny Pestka who deservingly captured World Series Sprintcars Rookie of the Year honours this summer.
American superstar Tim Shaffer also campaigned the Camden Neon Sign’s J&J during ‘Classic week’ with J&J distributor Challons seeking out the 50th Knoxville Nationals winner to pilot the potent #45 in the peak of the season.
Sprintcar fans are also reminded that the open ‘Pit Party’ time has been amended for the Avalon round from 3 to 4pm.
