IT is a tight two-way battle in the chase for a new car in the Essendon Ford track championship in the sprintcar division at Avalon Raceway for the 2013-14 season.
Shaun Dobson holds a narrow 20 point lead over Brett Milburn and who will drive home in a new Ford Fiesta will depend on the outcome of the final sprintcar race meeting on Good Friday, April 18 at the opening round of the Easter Sprintcar Trail.
While the winner gets a new car the runner-up picks up a new ART Chassis courtesy of PRP Engineering while a top wing is given to third placing and fourth is a year’s subscription to Oval Express magazine.
