It’s that time of year again. August traditionally kicks off the speedway season at Avalon Raceway with the annual Swap and Sell festival and this year it Sunday August 24th.
This year marks the 35th year of the annual event from humble beginnings with only a handful of stalls has steadily grown to one of the major swap meets in the speedway industry with a myriad of speedway equipment on offer from new parts to pre loved and everything in between there’s something for everyone.
As always gates open at 7:00am for sellers and 8:00am for buyers with site fee of $35.00 and $2 general admission. “it;s a day to snap up a bargain, sell that unwanted gear in the shed or just catch up with friends. That marks the start of our season ” said Avalon’s Rod Drew.
