South Australian Luke Dillon plans to make a bold statement in the upcoming Sprintcar Jackpot at Geelong’s Avalon Raceway on Saturday, 8 November.
The hard charger enjoyed a successful season last summer touring the circuit and established himself as anything but a square peg in a round hole.
He campaigned extensively in the Word Series tournament and was always among the front runners.
Cool hand Luke could not have selected a more star studded event than the line up for the Combined Waste-sponsored $10.000 to win Jackpot.
“No seeding takes place and you have to win your way to the 12 car final field and race like there’s no tomorrow,” said Raceway spokesman Jeff Drew.
“And on that front I think Luke is eminently qualified,” he added.
