Jamie Veal could not have wished for a better start to the 2014-2015 season.
He clinched his third consecutive main event at Valvoline Raceway and now looks eagerly towards the $10.000 to win Sprintcar Jackpot classic at Avalon on Saturday week, 8 November.
The Sydney victory was both important and impressive as Jamie started on the front row alongside veteran Max Dumesny and the two drivers went at it for most of the way.
The Combined Waste 10K to win Jackpot is different to any other sprintcar classic in Australia with qualifying finally determing the 12 cars for the 10 lap All Star event.
Victoria can proudly boast a terrific line up with Australian champion David Murcott, Veal, Darren Mollenoyux, Johnny Vogels and 20 others in with a chance.
However, Steven Lines and Luke Dillon (SA), James McFadden (Qld), Robbie Farr (WA) and Shaun Dobson (Tas) are big event spoilers, as is Wagga’s impressive Grant Anderson.
It should be Australia’s best contest this side of Christmas.
