They say the key to success is often a result of previous experience gained.
And sprintcar racing’s frequent flyer Robbie Farr hopes there is some truth in the old but accepted logic as he prepares for another shot at the 10K to win Jackpot classic at Avalon Raceway on Saturday week.
Farr, who was born in Sydney, now resides in Perth and races for the Queensland based East Coast Pipeline team.
Racing in Victoria is something he looks forward to each summer and the Avalon circuit is where he won his Australian speedcar title some years ago.
” I have done a lot of laps around Avalon in both types of cars, midgets and sprints and it never fails to keep you on your toes,” Farr told us this week.
Farr realises he will need to be on top of his game in the rich Jackpot event at Avalon on November 8 as the field awaiting him includes every form driver in Australia.
