The annual Super Sedan K-Rock Cup started 2017 in spectacular fashion at Avalon Raceway on Saturday night. Drivers and teams from right across Australia came to deliver one of the best races on the Victorian Speedway Sedans calendar. With multiple state champions nominated, a packed field took to the Avalon clay in spectacular form.
The current Australia number one Callum Harper took the 35lap feature from Lachlan Onley and previous runner up Mick Nicola Jnr. Last years winner Ryan Alexander received the Hard Charger award for his 16th to 5th effort.
The night also delivered the Combined Waste, Super Rod Stampede. The race was decided with less than a hand full of laps remaining with Darryl Nelson taking the win from Andrew Howard and Howard Stansfield.
Our next event is this Saturday the 14th with the Speedcar G-Town Rumble.
