With the Sharp Cranes Gold Cup/Eureka Garages & Sheds Rnd 7 completed, its time to update the Avalon Raceway Sprintcar track championship leader board. With a $20,000 prize going to this years winner, teams and drivers have made serious commitments to the Avalon calendar of events. The race within a race on Boxing Day delivered points into our Top 10 and brought Brett Milburn to the top spot with a healthy lead and one step closer to pay day. Shaun Dobson progressed to P3 and Luke Walkers win on Tuesday night gives him an outside chance from position 7. As we turn into the new year, points will be harder to come remembering only main events are scored. Its exciting to say the least.
