In recent times they have been as much a part of Easter as Chocolate Eggs, Hot Cross Buns, Sprintcars and Fireworks, but in 2019 the Super Rod’s will have a little extra incentive with thank to new Naming Rights Partner Max Dumesny Motorsport.

The Max Dumesny Motorsport Super Rod Easter Trail will be an integral part of the three nights of racing on Friday April 19 at Avalon Raceway, Saturday April 20 at Borderline Speedway, Mt. Gambier and Sunday April 21 at Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool.

The three ultra-tough nights of competition will see a Point Score conducted with the overall three-night Max Dumesny Motorsport Super Rod Easter Trail Champion set to receive a full set of  Max Wheel Racing Wheels courtesy of Max Dumesny and the Team at Max Dumesny Motorsport.

Super Rod Association Committee Person Darryl Bottams was excited to be able to have Max Dumesny Motorsport onboard for the 2019 Super Rod Easter Trail.

“The Super Rods have become a big part of the Easter Trail in general, and in recent times, in having the ability to compete over all three nights has certainly added some spice to the Easter weekend”, Bottams said.

“Having had Max and the Max Dumesny Motorsport Team involved in a smaller capacity in 2018, it is a real coup for us to have them involved as a Naming Rights partner this year and again in 2020. Hopefully it is a relationship that we can continue to foster for many years to come, as I am sure the competition for the Max Wheels will be on in earnest”, he added.

The three venues involved in the Easter Trail, Avalon Raceway, Borderline Speedway and Premier Speedway are also excited about the recent signing of Max Dumesny Motorsport to be a part of the Easter Trail excitement.

“The timing of this partnership between the Super Rod Association and Max Dumensy Motorsport as I think we were all on the same page as far as giving the Super Rods some incentive and subsequent reward for being a part of the Easter Trail weekend”, Premier Speedway General Manager David Mills said.

“For Max and his team to invest in the grass roots of Speedway via the Super Rods and the Easter Trail is a great concept and I think it will certainly provide for some hotly contested racing over all here nights. I also know that the other two venues in Avalon and Borderline were very keen to see some incentive for the Super Rods to come along as a part of the Easter Trail”, Mills added.

The Max Dumesny Motorsport Super Rod Easter Trail will be a part of the Geelong Harley Davidson Easter Sprintcar Trail to be held on Friday April 19 at Avalon Raceway, Saturday April 20 at Borderline Speedway, Mt. Gambier and Sunday April 21 at Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool.

Giant Fireworks displays will compliment the Racing on all three nights with thanks to Pro-Fire Pyrotechnics.
