NICOLA SNR CROWNED AS K ROCK KING IN 2023
Mick Nicola Snr has added a brand new K Rock Cup jacket to the trophy cupboard after taking out the 2023 Super Sedan K Rock Cup in front of Tyson Moon and Jamie Collins at a packed Avalon Raceway.
After a first and second in the heats, Nicola Snr put it off pole position and never put a foot wrong despite pressure from Moon and Collins. Sean Black and Lee Aylett made up the top five in the main event. The top 10 would consist of Nicola Jnr in sixth, then Callum Harper, Lucas Roberts, Ash Bergmeier and Michael Hally.
Super Sedan Heat Races were won by:

Jacob Pitcher took out the Super Rod main event in the narrowest of margins over second place Dane Court. Jamie May, Adrian Rieck and Gerrard Mabbitt would make up the top five finishers. The top ten would see Michael Coad, Jason Poustie, Daniel Grist, Bailey Pitcher and Billy Grist.

The Crash and Bash crew had fans on the edge of their seats watching the carnage unfold race after race. After 9 Heat races the final would come down to see Jackson Basten crowned victorious. Nathan Taylor and Jay Nicolaisen would stand atop the podium with Basten. William Leeson and Rob Bushell made the top five. Whilst James Carden David, Mark Taylor, William George, Clint Robinson and Glen Robinson closed out the top ten.
Crash and Bash Heats were won by:
Kev Hughes x2, Nathan Taylor x2, Clint Robinson x2, Ashley Marshall and Steve Mitchell.
