CARROLL CREAM RISES TO THE TOP

Will Carroll has made his first ever Sprintcar Main Event win following a stunning feature race at Avalon Raceway.

Corey Mccullagh would put the first set of runs on the board courtesy of his gallant QuickTime effort in the fourth flight of cars laying down an 11.917s lap time. Grant Anderson was fastest in flight one with Tate Frost taking out group two and Jamie Veal in group four.

Josh Buckingham was the victor of the opening heat race followed by Chris Solomon and Terry Rankin.

Heat two would see Grant Stansfield with the win over Brody Appleby and Jordan Rae.

In heat three it was Adam King leading the way from Corey Mccullagh and Cameron Waters.

Territorian Will Carroll was the fastest man in heat four, taking the heat win from Andrew Hughes and Brett Milburn.

Rolling into the top 8 shootout the bronze group of cars would see Tate Frost and Will Carroll transferring through to the Silver.

From the Silver Group it would be Brett Milburn and Will Carroll climbing up another group and into the Gold Group for the top four.

Carroll would go on to win the Gold Shootout and start from Pole position alongside Brett Milburn, ahead of Corey Mccullagh and Adam King.

Transferees from the 10 Lap C Main event were Tim Hutchins with the win, along with Terry Kelly, Eddie Lumbar and Marcus Green.

The 15 Lap B Main would see the top six cars transferring into the main event. Jack Lee was the winner, who would take with him Matthew Reed, Jordan Rae, Jordyn Charge, Chris Solomon and Brody Appleby

30 laps on the board for the all important Eureka Garages and Sheds SRA Series would form up the stacked field.

Brett Milburn would jump to an early race lead from the green. However an eager Carroll put the foot down and sent the NT25 back to the top spot where he started.

In Lap traffic Milburn battled with Tate Frost whilst this let Carroll lead through the traffic.

At the end of the 30 Lap Feature Race, a pumped up Will Carroll would be the first to the line and confirmed his first ever Sprintcar Main Event win. Brett Milburn was a close second with Frost in the final podium spot.

Fourth was Corey Mccullagh with Adam King making up the top five.

Through the top ten was Grant Stansfield, Josh Buckingham, Jordyn Charge, Terry Rankin and Jordan Rae.

In the Murray Atkin Cup for V8 Dirt Modifieds, it was right down to the wire for the Cup and Track Championship.

Todd Hobson was the winner of the opening heat race from Matt Reddecliffe and Daryl Hickson.

Heat two would see Michael Ardley taking the win from Marcus Reddecliffe and Daryl Hickson.

The feature race was run over 15 laps with the Q29 of Marcus Reddecliffe taking the big win. Redde won ahead of Daryl Hickson, Todd Hobson, Michael Ardley, Tyler Scott and Matt Reddecliffe.
