It’s almost that time again.
Get ready race fans for the return of speedway action at Avalon Raceway, Saturday 26th will be the season opener featuring 410 sprintcars in the Combined Waste Jackpot.
This season will see the Jackpot revert to a standard format of time trials, a qualifying heat, C, B & A Main, instead of its usual invite only. With recent track works this has put us behind in the organising of the Events said Avalon’s Rod Drew. He went on to day we need to look forward to a quality field with nominations open now on Avalon Website and it will be a $10,000 pay day for the winner. also on the 26th will be wingless sprints and all are invited to get into the Halloween theme with prizes for best themed sprintcar and wingless plus prizes for the kids and big kids.
