CONWAY LEADS THE WAY AT AVALON RACEWAY!
It was a scorching night both on and off the track at Avalon Raceway, with fans treated to an action-packed evening of racing.
The Speedcars took center stage for the prestigious Beasley Family Memorial, and the battle for the lead didn’t disappoint. Caleb Mills was on fire early, going two-for-two in the heats before a dislodged muffler ended his dominant run.
That opened the door for Michael Conway in the V77 Baretta Chassis, Honda powered machine, who bided his time before making his move with nine laps to go. Once out front, he never looked back. DJ Raw controlled the race at the halfway mark but settled for second, while Glen Shaw fought hard through the mid-pack to secure third.
In the V8 Dirt Modifieds, Marcus Reddecliffe made a triumphant return in the fan-favorite Spider-Man themed Q29, claiming the feature win. Darryl Hickson pushed the pace for all 20 laps, finishing second, with Paul Tindal rounding out the podium.
The New Stars division showcased the next generation of racers, with Hudson Moorfoot delivering a flawless performance for a well-earned feature win. Noah Basten and Jackson Heaphy joined him on the podium.
Meanwhile, in the Top stars, Steane Cosson grabbed the lead early and held off a strong challenge from Jake Bradley, who settled for second, while James Peacock celebrated a hard-fought third-place finish.
