This Friday night, The Pace For Pace Avalon Raceway roars to life as the 2025 Easter Sprintcar Trail kicks off with Round 1, proudly presented by Camden Signage and Building Services!
36 Sprintcars and 19 Super Rods are locked in for a night of full-throttle family fun—including a pyrotechnics display, thanks to Tim Perrett and the team at ProFire Pyrotechnics.
Get ready for fireworks on and off the track, with a stacked lineup of stars, interstaters, and fan favourites.
Leading the charge is Jamie Veal, a proven Easter Trail specialist and multiple-time track champion, ready to add more accolades to his 2024/25 season. He’ll be joined by Ian Madsen, a former President’s Cup winner driving the DTM Motorsports machine.
Tate Frost, currently sitting third in the Doolan’s Heavy Haulage Track Championship, is also set to make an impact after a podium finish in the recent Great Southern Showdown.
Fan-favourite Michael Pickens, the ever-popular Kiwi, will pilot the V88 for Matt and Renae Eastham, bringing international flair to the field.
South Australia will be well represented with a strong lineup including Matt Egel, Luke Dillon, Daniel Pestka, Glen Sutherland, Ben Morris, and Parker Scott.
Local favourites Brett Milburn and Grant Stansfield, both of whom have already stood on the podium this season, are sure to draw strong support.
Rounding out the talent are rising stars Josh Buckingham, and Luke Storer—all of whom have been turning heads with impressive form in the 2024/25 season.
The Easter Sprintcar Trail, presented by Camden Signage and Building Services, continues on Saturday night at Borderline Speedway in Mount Gambier, before culminating in a massive Easter Sunday showdown at Premier Speedway.
The overall series winner will take home a $5,000 prize, with $7,000 up for grabs each night, bringing the total prize pool to $12,000, plus additional Tow Money Packages.
Night One will also feature the final round of the 2024–2025 Doolan’s Heavy Haulage 410 Sprintcar Track Championship, proudly supported by Transall Motors and Camden Signage and Building Services, offering a $30,000 prize pool, including $10,000 for the overall winner.
The Super Rods bring the heat too—led by last-start winner Jamie May, along with the Marco and Pitcher families (five nominations between them!), current Victorian Champion Shaun Walsh, and veteran Michael Coad—all contenders to watch.
Merchandise Alley will be up and running—a perfect opportunity to stock up on all your merch before the season wraps up! Grab your hoodies and long sleeves just in time for the cooler months ahead.
You’ll find the alley just past the front straight canteen area, heading towards Turn 1.
Friday night will feature special edition 2025 Easter Trail merchandise, available exclusively at the souvenirs stand located at the main entrance on the Melbourne side of the venue. Don’t forget to check it out as you make your way in!
The Pit Party will also be in full swing, giving families the chance to stroll through the pits and get an up-close look at the cars and drivers.
