VEAL TAKES THE TRAIL
After three nights of intense Sprintcar action in the 2025 Easter Trail, Warrnambool’s Jamie Veal has once again emerged victorious, adding to his already impressive list of Easter Trail triumphs.
Veal claimed back-to-back wins on Saturday & Sunday where he drove from 12th position to take out the final night at Premier Speedway.
In addition to the $7,000 winner’s prize for the final round, Veal also pocketed a $5,000 bonus as the overall Easter Trail aggregate winner.
South Australia’s Daniel Pestka kicked off the series with a win on Good Friday at Avalon Raceway and delivered consistent performances throughout the weekend to finish second overall in the points.
Meanwhile, Ian Madsen’s decision to spend Easter racing in Victoria and South Australia paid off, with two podium finishes across the three nights earning him third place in the final standings.
Avalon Raceway now turns its attention to the final event of the season on Thursday evening for the 2025 A Plus Powder Coating Diggers Cup.
