Avalon Secures Rights to 2027 360-LS Sprintcar Aussie Title

Avalon Raceway is pleased to announce that it has secured the rights to play host to the 2027 Australian 360-LS Sprintcar Championship.

This announcement comes after Avalon’s submission was tabled and accepted at the recent Sprintcar Control Council of Australia Annual General Meeting as held in Melbourne.

The event is now scheduled for the weekend of April 1, 2 and 3 of 2027, slated between the Easter Sprintcar Trail and the Annual 360-LS Diggers Cup at Avalon Raceway.

Recently appointed Avalon Speedway Operations Manager, David Mills was excited that Avalon’s proposal was ultimately successful.

“I know the Drew Family and everyone here at Avalon will be excited to play host to the 360-LS Sprintcar Title in April 2027, having already had the opportunity to host the 2024 version of what was then the Pro-Sprint National Title as won by Jock Goodyer”, Mills said.

“It’s great for us to be able to get stuck right into the coming season, knowing we have a major cornerstone of the following year also already in place, it really is something to look forward to”, he added.
