Speedcars Set To Chase New Look Track Championship at Avalon Raceway!
The Avalon Raceway BL Speedcar Track Championship will get a fresh new look
and some attractive incentives throughout the 2025-26 Season.
To be contested over three rounds of competition, commencing with the staging of
Round 1 of the Southern Speedcar Tour on Saturday October 11, the BL Speedcar
Track Championship as supported by the Victorian Speedcar Drivers Association,
will carry a cool $3,000.00 end of series prize purse, of which $1,500 will go the way
of the winner.
Adding to the excitement of each round, the top five finishers will also go into a
random draw to receive an American Racer right rear tyre, courtesy of Mark Cooper
and the Team at American Race Tyre. at each of the three nights of competition.
The fans won’t miss out either, with not only some amazing on track Speedcar
action, but one lucky child on each night of Speedcar competition to take home a
new bike!!
Avalon Raceway would like to thank BL for all of his support this season and also
extend a thank you to the VSDA for their support of this initiative.

All BL Speedcar Track Championship Points will be paid out on finishing positions in
the A-Main only, with 175 points allocated to the feature race winner,
2 nd 160, 3 rd 145, 4 th 140, 5 th 100, 6 th 80, 7 th 70, 8 th 60, 9 th 55, 10 th 45, 11 th 40, 12 th 35, 13 th 30, 14 th 25, 15 th
20, 16 th 16, 17 th 10, 18 th 10, 19 th 10 and 20 th 10 points.
The full BL Speedcar Track Championship, as supported by the VSDA, schedule is
as follows:
Saturday October 11, 2025 – BL Speedcar Track Championship Round 1, doubling
as Round 1 of the Southern Speedcar Tour.
Saturday November 29, 2025 – Legends Night, round 2 of the BL Speedcar Track
Championship and the Barry Power Classic $5059.00 to Win!
Saturday April 18, 2026 – Speedcar Diggers Cup and the Grand Final of the BL
Speedcar Track Championship as supported by the VSDA.
