Gio Scelzi delivered a highlight of his Australian tour at Avalon Raceway Wednesday night to win the $10,000 Presidents Cup. In a star studded field, Gio battled with James McFadden for the first half of the race until a superb low pass secured the teenager a win to remember. Jamie Veal secured the final place on the podium while gaining valuable points for the Kings Cars $20,000 Avalon track championship.

The Street Stocks gave the capacity crowd 3 wide racing and a final that was decided on the last corner. Mick Clark took the win from Stuey Robinson, who came from last place and Ricky Throckmorton grabbed 3rd.

Our next event is January 26th for the Victorian Wingless Tittle, with some 70 cars already registered. The G-Town Rumble for Speedcars will fill the bill.
