Yarra Valley Karts kicked the night off and it was great to see some tough, quick racing.
Santa pays us a visit and lots of kids are up and about as the bearded one delivers a bit of Christmas cheer.
The Mod Prods headed out for 2 heats, followed by the V8 Dirt Mods. The thundering Super sedans hit the Avalon clay for the first time this year, then the Street Stocks came out to deliver some door scraping action.
Qualifying done, we start the mains with the V8 Dirt Mods, where V77 Craig Wicks leads V0 Darren Tindal and V7 Steven Lodwick to the line. The Super Sedans deliver another great race and V23 Mick Nicola Jnr takes first spot from Q1 Peter Nicola and NQ44Trent Wilson. The hard charging Street Stocks tear up the track and V75 Troy Polly is victorious from AV59 Chris Suiter and G16 Collin Tate.
The VMPA place 20 laps on the board and it’s a cracker from start to finish. HA36 Broke Atkins has what it takes to take out round three from RDL11 Nick Cockerill and RDL46 Kye Walters.
