Sadly Avalon Raceway management have been forced to abandon the Sprintcar Jackpot Invitational event that was scheduled for Saturday night, October 16, due to the inclement weather. Rain hit the Geelong area overnight and continued through the day and with more rain, wind and storms forecast across Saturday and the remainder of the weekend, the Drew family were left with no other option than to cancel the event.
Focus now turns to Saturday, October 30 with the opening round of the Eureka Sprintcar Series set to headline the action.
