Geelong’s Avalon Raceway has cancelled this Saturday night’s (Janury 15th) meeting due to the heavy rain that fell on the venue today. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to the Avalon Raceway website for continual updates in regards to Wednesday night’s Essendon Ford President’s Cup for Sprintcars.
Avalon Raceway management are also looking for a suitable date to rerun the West Coast Classic for Modified Production Sedans while the Demolition Derby may also be reschuduled to February 5th.
Wednseday’s (Jan 19th) President’s Cup has attracted a strong field including three times and defending event winner Brooke Tatnell. Robbie Farr, Stephen Bell, Kerry Madsen and David Murcott are also among the entries while World of Outlaws champion Jason Meyers, Classic winner Shane Stewart along with Joey Saldana and Cody Darrah head the US contingent.
