With a win under his belt in Queensland last week, NSW prodigy Robbie Farr believes he is on his way in the summer sprintcar campaign that rolls into Geelong’s Avalon Raceway on Saturday, November 8.
After a couple of hiccups at his car owner’s Valvoline Raceway in Sydney, the WA based driver landed a main event victory in Brisbane to get his show on the road after a depressing start.
No other driver has more frequent flyer points in their account at season’s end than the ex Australian sprintcar and speedcar champion.
He is contracted to the Brisbane-based East Coast Pipeline team which means return travel from Perth on most weekends.
Farr hopes to break his run of outs in Sydney this weekend before the East Coast team moves south to Avalon for the $10.000 to win Combined Waste Sprintcar Jackpot in a fortnight.
The clash between Farr, Australian champion David Murcott and World Series titlist Steven Lines in the Jackpot should be a cracker.
