Sponsorship is a key element of a successful sporting code and Avalon Raceway is delighted to announce Kings Cars, Geelong’s premier Mitsubishi new and used car dealership  at Geelong, Waurn Ponds and Ballarat, will take the green  flag with us for another exciting season of championship racing.

Marketing Director Ned Tansey said today Kings Cars were anxious to continue their association with the Place for Pace in season 2019-2020 that launches on October 19 and is followed a week later by the sight and sounds of the motor magic sprintcars.

The Routleys Sprintcar Fireball Derby returns on October 26 followed by the Combined Waste 10.000 to win Sprintcar Jackpot on November 9.

“The sprinters have an exciting season planned with the Eureka Garages and Sheds SRA series and I am really happy that every one of our sponsors, including Kings Cars,  Eureka, Routleys, Camden Neon, BayFM and A+Plus Powder Coating are with us again.” Said Jeff Drew this week.

“Old friends are the best friends so the Avalon tradition continues unabated,” he added.

Who will stand out as the season’s sprintcar star and big money winner is hard to predict but the globe trotting James McFadden (pictured) won’t be far away.

He won the US 360 Nationals at Knoxville, Iowa and a number of races for retired NASCAR racer Kasey Kahne before returning to Australia to honour racing engagements in Darwin.

However Kahne sent out the call ‘get back here in a hurry‘ so he has returned to the US for a number of end-of-season

meetings, but rest assured he’ll be back to go head to head with the internationals and local stars.
