James McFadden has flown home from the US and is ready to fire as a ‘wild card’ in the $10.000 to win Sprintcar Jackpot at Avalon Raceway on November 8.
Australia’s most prolific short winner in recent years has spent the past five months in the United States competing amongst the best sprintcar racers in the business.
He has fielded serious offers to return to the US and make a full time run at season championships commencing in Florida in mid February.
In the meantime the cut throat Aussie summer campaign beckons and Geelong fans will see him at his best in the Combined Waste sponsored Jackpot.
The big gun segment of the qualifying ranks will now pit
McFadden, Steven Lines, Jamie Veal, Robbie Farr, Shaun Dobson and Victorian favourites Johnny Vogels and Darren Mollenoyux together.
Tasmanian Dobson, sponsored by Essendon Ford, could be the biggest danger following his point score success last summer.
