Jamie Veal has beenΒ practically unbeatable this season, particularly in Sydney where he won three feature races in quick succession.

Jamie returned to Parramatta’s Valvoline Raceway on Saturday after number four and was well on the way to nailing it down.

Unfortunately race leader Daryl Campbell and a rookie tangled and involved Veal in their skirmish.

When the feature race reverted to green flag conditions, Australian champion David Murcott burst into the lead and the Point Cook driver stayed out front to lead home Troy Little and NT standout Ben Atkinson.

With Veal’s big steal in Sydney, Victorian drivers now have four feature race wins to local Sam Walsh’s one.

Speedway action returns to Geelong’s Avalon Raceway on Saturday night (November 29) with the Golden Era Racing Revival coupled with the Beasley Brothers speedcar Memorial.

Sprintcars, speedcars, hot rods, super modifieds and a wide variety of mechines from every State and Territory will be in the pits on Saturday afternoon for a show and shine to be followed by spirited on track demonstrations.

“Fans will be able to travel through five decades of cars and stars before the modern day gladiators go to town in the Beasley classic,” promised Raceway spokesman Jeff Drew.
