On behalf of the Drew Family, I welcome you all to the Combined Waste Services Sprintcar Jackpot Invitational, which tonight will be supported by an elite 20 car, Wingless Sprint field.

The Sprintcar Jackpot Invitational also doubles as the opening round of the Doolan’s Heavy Haulage Sprintcar Track Championship as proudly presented by Camden Signage and Building Services and Transall Motors.

Tonight’s line up is star studded with the defending Doolan’s Heavy Haulage Sprintcar Track Champion Jamie Veal headlining the list of entrants.

Set to challenge Jamie will be a driver who has been in dominant early season form, Lachlan McHugh. McHugh will for the first time this season campaign the V71 entry for Domain Ramsay, while the likes of former Australian Sprintcar Champions Jock Goodyer and Marcus Dumesny will also fancy their chances of collecting a cool $10,000 pay day at Avalon Raceway.

2023 Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Champion is also nominated for tonight’s event along with multi-time Australian 360 Sprintcar Champion Ryan Jones, Daniel Pestka and Tasmanian talent Tate Frost.

The Wingless Sprint Invitational tonight will see 20 of the best credentialed drivers on display, with a strict criteria having been used to bring this field together.

Current Vic Champ Brad Warren, Blake Walsh, Angus Hollis, Travis Millar and Luke Week are a handful of drivers to keep an eye on throughout the course of the night.

Looking forward, our next meeting will the Routley’s Bakery Fireball Derby for Sprintcars with the Super Sedans set to get their first run at Avalon for the 2025-26 season.
