Track Championship Supplementary Regulations

Doolan’s Heavy Haulage, Avalon Raceway 2025-2026 Sprintcar Track Championship as supported by Transall Motors and Camden Building and Signage Services Sub-Regulations:

Amendment of these Regulations:

Avalon Raceway Management reserves the right to update, change or amend any of the supplementary regulations at any time and no correspondence will be entered into.

Eligibility:

  • The 2025-2026 Doolan’s Heavy Haulage, Avalon Raceway Sprintcar Track Championship will have points awarded to the driver. Should a driver contest rounds of the 2025-2026 Doolan’s Heavy Haulage, Avalon Raceway Sprintcar Track with multiple teams, all points will be accrued toward the Track Championship by the driver.
  • Avalon Raceway will then award said driver all entitled prize monies and trophies as gazetted here within, taking no part, nor responsibility in coming to any arrangement with regards to division or split of prize monies between driver and car owners as required.
  • Track Championship monies will be paid to a nominated bank account.
  • Ties – any ties on points at seasons end will be split in the first instance by the highest recorded placings over the Avalon Raceway Sprintcar season
  • In the second instance, the positions involved in the tie will have the prizemoney combined and split evenly amongst the number of positions concerned.

Conditions of Entry:

  • All competitors/team drivers must have a current Sprintcar Control Council of Australia (SCCA) Competition licence. All Sprintcars are to be SCCA registered. Racing is to be conducted as per the current SCCA racing rules, regulations and specifications.
  • All competitors will also be required to have a current and valid Speedway Australia licence card.
  • All competitors must display a track issued Doolan’s Heavy Haulage Sprintcar Track Championship decal in a prominent space (visible from infield) on the car for all rounds.
  • Noise level 95dba effective mufflers must be used.
  • All Speedway Australia OH&S Pit rules and safety conditions apply-at-all times.

Format:

  • Formats on any given night may vary to accommodate rounds of the SRA Series and Avalon Raceway Feature Events, while variations may also be implemented for events such as the Combined Waste Services Sprintcar Jackpot, Brandt Sprintcar Speedweek, the Kubota President’s Cup and the Easter Sprintcar Trail. Regardless of format, points will only be paid in relation to A-Main finishing positions.

Points:

  • Points will be paid in all A-Mains. Non-finishing cars will be awarded points based on order of non-finishers.

  • In the advent of a field containing 24 starters (ie. Brandt Sprintcar Speedweek round), finishers 21 to 24 will all receive 10 Doolan’s Heavy Haulage, Avalon Raceway 2025-2026 Sprintcar Track Championship points.
  • Any A-Main Feature event, declared due to curfew, rain, medical emergency or any other reason as stated by officials will have Track Championship points awarded on the official positions at the last completed lap.
  • Any cars involved in a race ending incident will be deemed as DNF’s, with drop out positions awarded.
  • No Track Championship points will be awarded to any driver in the advent that a meeting is cancelled prior to the full A-Main line-up being set (ie. B-Main must be completed or in the advent of no scheduled B-Main, at the completion of all heat races).

Payout:

A prize pool of $30,000.00 will be made available for the Doolan’s Heavy Haulage, Avalon Raceway 2025-2026 Sprintcar Track Championship, to be allocated across the top ten in points at season’s end, the breakdown will be as follows:

  9. $1,100.00
  10. $1,000.00

 

Advertising and Marketing:

  • In consideration of entering any of the scheduled events, car owners, drivers, support personnel, crew, sponsors, agree Avalon Raceway and its assigned personnel have the right to use the Entrant’s names and images and images of the Entrants’ car for advertise, marketing and publicity before and after any event.
  • Unless instructed to do otherwise the winner of the A-Main, after being weighed, must proceed directly to Victory Lane. Unless otherwise instructed, full victory lane activities, including, but not limited to, photos and media interviews will take place following the final feature event of the night.
  • No Entrant’s sponsor’s products may be distributed on Avalon Raceway property without prior permission from Avalon Raceway management, with any such permitted distribution subject to a fee determined in Avalon Raceway’s sole discretion.
  • Avalon Raceway Officials may refuse to allow a participant to compete in any event if it is determined, at Avalon Raceway’s sole discretion, that any advertising and/or sponsorship display or decals appearing on an Entrant’s car or uniform that:
  • brings the sport or Avalon Raceway and/or its sponsors, suppliers, broadcast partners, sanctioning bodies and other affiliates into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule
  • Tends to shock, insult or offend any class or group of society
  • Reflects unfavourably on sport or the names, reputations, public images or products/services of Avalon Raceway. Further a participant knowingly violating this rule shall be subject to disqualification from any race and to a ban from entering future events.

The Doolan’s Heavy Haulage, Avalon Raceway 2025-2026 Sprintcar Track Championship will be held over the following race meetings:

  • Saturday October 25, 2025 – Combined Waste Services Sprintcar Jackpot Invitational $10,000 to Win
  • Saturday November 8, 2025 – Routley’s Bakery Sprintcar Fireball Derby $5,000 to Win
  • Friday December 26, 2025 – Sharp Cranes Sprintcar Gold Cup $5,000 to Win
  • Tuesday December 30, 2025 – Brandt Sprintcar Speedweek $10,000 to Win.
  • Wednesday January 21, 2026 – Kubota Sprintcar President’s Cup $10,000.00 to Win.
  • Saturday March 21, 2026 – Daimler Trucks Sprintcar Great Southern Showdown $5,000 to Win
  • Friday April 3, 2026 – Easter Sprintcar Trail Night 1 presented by Camden Building and Signage Services $10,000 to Win.
