With the 2026-27 Avalon Raceway season set to get underway in less than two weeks time, drivers and teams are encouraged to get their nominations in to assist with event planning.
The opening night of competition on Saturday October 10, 2026 will feature the Wingless Sprint 50 Lapper, Speedcars and Street Stocks. Nominations will be accepted via:
– Wingless Sprints – via the Wingless Sprint Association – usual process.
– Speedcars – via the VSDA – usual process
– Street Stocks – via Avalon Raceway using the following link to access the nomination page:

Street Stocks are asked to nominate by 5pm on Tuesday October 6, 2026. Any nominations post this time will need to be confirmed by the Speedway Operations Manager via email to manager@avalonraceway.com.au
The second meeting of the season is on Saturday October 24, 2026 and will feature the Combined Waste Services Sprintcar Jackpot Invitational along with a Wingless Sprint Invitational.
This event will pay the winner $10,000.00 while also doubling as the first round of the Doolans Heavy Haulage Sprintcar Track Championship as presented by Camden Signage and Building Services, Transall Motors, Penrite and NAPA Geelong. Nominations will be accepted via:
– Sprintcars: Invitees have received email invites and need to confirm acceptance by nominating via the scca.fueled.au site as per normal practice.
Any casual 410 Sprintcar entrants are asked to nominate via the scca.fueled.au site as per normal practice.
Wingless Sprints Invitational Entrants will be notified by their Association.
