The Aero6Four Racing Products Australian Formula 500 Australian Championship, as set to be contested at Avalon Raceway in January 2027, will be proudly supported by Penrite Oil, Jettco Developments and now Driven Australia!

Avalon Raceway is excited to have been afforded the opportunity to play host to this event, following the standards that were set by Borderline Speedway, Mount Gambier back in March. The 2026 version of the Australian Championship attracted a stout field of 75 Senior competitors, with Terry Rankin claiming the coveted A1 in dominant style.

“The support the 2027 Australian Formula 500 Championship is attracting, is testament to the caliber of racing the division has produced in recent times as well as the professional approach the Formula 500’s have taken to their racing and in particular their National Championship in recent years”, Avalon Raceway Speedway Operations Manager David Mills said.

“To have Aero6Four continue their support of this event, along with amazing backing from Penrite Oil, Jettco Developments and now Driven Australia, we are really looking forward to making this another great Australian Championship. We really can’t thank Graham, Wendy and Laurie Erhart from GW Racing/Driven Australia, along with Ben Sterling for helping to pull all of this together, enough, it really is appreciated”, Mills added.

With the launch of the “All New” Avalon Raceway website now complete and ticketing set to be launched in the coming weeks, including some new and exciting ticketing options, including but not limited to, discounted two night passes for the Aero6Four Racing Products Australian Formula 500 Australian Championship, as supported by Penrite Oil, Jettco and now Driven Australia!

The Aero6Four Racing Products Australian Formula 500 Championship as presented by Penrite, Jettco and Driven Australia will be held at Avalon International Raceway as follows:

Thursday January 7, 2027 – Practice and Calcutta.
Friday January 8, 2027 – Night One
Saturday January 9, 2027 – Night Two (Championship Night)
