On the back of Penrite Oil’s amazing support of the 2026 President’s Cup event, it is with great pleasure that Avalon Raceway can announce an extension to its partnership with Penrite Oil.
This partnership extension will see Penrite Oil expand its Avalon Raceway portfolio to include the 2027 Penrite Oil President’s Cup, as well as becoming a major supporting partner of the Aero 6 Four Australian Formula 500 Championship and the Doolans Heavy Haulage $10,000-to-win Sprintcar Track Championship.
The 2026 President’s Cup was won in exciting fashion by James McFadden in January.
“We are both excited and humbled to once again have Penrite Oil on board, not only for the President’s Cup, but also for the Formula 500 Australian Championship and the Sprintcar Track Championship as major events in what we hope will be an exciting 2026-27 Avalon Raceway season,” Avalon Raceway Speedway Operations Manager David Mills said.
“The President’s Cup is an integral part of the Australian Sprintcar racing calendar and, due to the support of Penrite Oil, we were able to make significant changes to the prizemoney structure prior to the 2026 event. We look forward not only to maintaining the popularity of this event, but continuing to build it in the seasons to come,” he added.
